Who will be the next President of the United States?

Some people think I’m crazy for posting this on my website. There are few astrologers who are willing to publicly make a prediction about who the next President of the United States will be and it’s understandable. What an embarrassment it would be if the astrologer was wrong!

Well, I’m being very true to my Aries rising impulsive nature and I’m going to risk that potential embarrassment. If I’m wrong then I will learn from the astrology and the experience. It will further humble me on my own personal journey and that will be that. If, on the other hand, my prediction is correct, then I will be able to validate astrology in a spectacular way.

The birth charts of Barack Obama and John McCain are speaking to me and all I’m doing is listening. I will state that I’m not going to get into any heated political debates with anyone so please, save your emails. I’m an astrologer who is trained to observe planetary patterns and how they affect us here on Earth. I’m not a politician with a hidden agenda. I’m not getting paid to endorse someone and I’m certainly not saying that one candidate would be a better president than the other based on my prediction.

I can see the good in both of these men. I see that they both love our country and have, in their view, the best interests of our country at heart. Yes – I see this in their birth charts.

At the same time I see that there are clear markers in one candidate’s chart that would indicate a Presidential win. This pattern points to success in the horoscope. It screams “winner” and I’ve said this to my friends and colleagues for over a year already.

Many of them told me not to publish this, but I’m going to do it anyway because I want you to see the beauty of astrology unfold.

In my astrological assessment ladies and gentlemen, our next President of the United States is going to be Barack Obama.

Now, I’m not going to get into the entire collapse and restructure of our government and country that this next President will have to face. Pluto entering Capricorn at the end of this year will herald the literal death of our current infrastructure in ways that I don’t even think astrologers can foresee. All we know is that it is imminent and we WILL get through it.

For now, let me tell you why I think Mr. Obama is going to be our next President.

From the first time I looked at his chart my eyes went to his natal Jupiter placement. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and luck. Mr. Obama has it in the humanitarian and intellectual sign Aquarius at 52 minutes into the sign.

Last year his birth time was unknown and my mind kept telling me “it’s all about his Jupiter”. Now that we have an accurate birth time for Mr. Obama we know that his Ascendant, or rising sign, is also Aquarius at 18 degrees.

On January 9th he will have what’s called a Jupiter return. This is when transiting Jupiter in the sky right now returns to the exact degree of his natal Jupiter placement. It only happens once every 12 years and when it does it signals a new cycle of inspiration, faith and belief. In Obama’s case it will have everything to do with his visions, ideals and hopes for the betterment of society. He is extremely compassionate with that Jupiter in his 12th house – no doubt about it!

A month before, on December 18th Obama’s Progressed Moon will cross his Ascendant. This is traditionally known as a time of personal new beginnings and is quite favorable for him to signify an emotional dream come true.

Also, on December 15th transiting Jupiter will still be in Capricorn and will conjunct Obama’s natal Saturn. This is ALL about bringing expansion to our government and hope to our current limitations.

Remember that even if he is elected on November 4th he will not officially take office until the Inauguration on January 20th. The fact that these aspects are so close to the Inauguration date is extremely promising in the astrology!

On January 15th Obama has some enticing activity to his Midheaven ruler. The Midheaven is the point in our chart that shows professional success, honor and fame. On the 15th Pluto, the planet that rules his Midheaven, will oppose Venus, the planet of love, money, harmony and social grace.

This opposition will provide just the right amount of developmental tension in his career to mark change. It is also an aspect of fate when you consider it in synastry. It points to “fated meetings” for lovers and I can easily translate this into a “fated” professional milestone. The power struggles will be enormous for Obama however I’m not going to get into all of that now. I’ll stick to the matter at hand.

But wait, there’s more! Guess what happens on January 26th my friends? A Solar Eclipse at 6 degrees and 30 minutes of Aquarius.

Could you ask for more promising astrology? Jupiter return (Jupiter rules his 11th house of humanitarianism, hopes and wishes and society), Secondary Progressed Moon conjunct his Ascendant, and a Solar Eclipse on his Jupiter.

These are extraordinary aspects to have in a one month time frame and they all point to magnificent new beginnings for Mr. Obama that have everything to do with our government and his visions to help restructure our country.

A final note about his chart is that on November 14th he will have Mars, the planet of action and assertive energy, cross his Midheaven. This is a once in two year event that gives tremendous power to the native to “make things happen” in his career. Remember that if his birth time is off by a couple of minutes that Mars transit could happen very close to Election Day however either way it will still apply and be strong!

Unfortunately, Senator McCain’s birth chart just doesn’t knock me out as an astrologer in the same “winning” way. Sure, he has transiting Jupiter moving to a conjunction to his natal Moon in Capricorn in mid December. Since the Moon rules his Midheaven this is definitely a positive aspect for career success. And he does have the Secondary Progressed Moon on his natal Mercury in early February. What McCain’s chart doesn’t have is the triple whammy I see in Obama’s chart.

It’s simple astrology at its best. You can’t compete with a Jupiter return, an Eclipse that contacts that Jupiter return, and the transit of the SP Moon to the Ascendant. The angles of a chart are everything and his angles or the rulers of his angles are on fire for these crucial months between November and January.

The astrology is waiting to be brought to life in this man’s chart. Now all that’s left is the election and of course, the free will of the country that will vote for our nations next President.
